just for mochi is a local handmade dessert made with love, offering a total of 41 flavours. Our mochi is oil-free, low in sugar, and additive-free. The rich fillings are wrapped by handmade chewy skin. From steaming, beating, kneading, stuffing, wrapping, to decoration, every piece is only hand-made; a small piece of mochi can wrap up to five layers of ingredients. You can also get mochi cakes with more than ten layers, all HANDMADE. Mochi was called “Big Belly Cake” in Chinese because of its round shape and full fillings. Later, people renamed it “Tai Fuk” in Cantonese, taking its auspicious homonym, which means “full of blessings and happiness.” We wish to share the “Tai Fuk” blessings at our AIRSIDE store—don’t forget to treasure happiness even during tough times.
