The globally celebrated visual project ACCIDENTALLY WES ANDERSON (AWA), which has captivated audiences in cities including Seoul, London, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Los Angeles with over 1 million visitors worldwide, is making its Hong Kong debut this summer. 

Brought to Hong Kong by The Mills, this exhibition features over 100 real-life photographs from around the world, each embodying Wes Anderson’s signature symmetry, nostalgic charm, and whimsical storytelling. By rediscovering the poetry and order in everyday landscapes, the exhibition not only sparks inspiration but also encourages visitors to step outside and embark on their own extraordinary visual adventures.

Explore Five Thematic Zones, Including a Hong Kong Exclusive

Accidentally Wes Anderson: The Wes Anderson World Aesthetics Exhibition transforms The Mills into a vibrant homage to Anderson’s iconic style. The Hong Kong edition features five immersive zones, including a special Hong Kong-themed section and interactive photo spots. Bold hues of crimson, tangerine, and pastel blue dominate the exhibition space, while meticulously designed symmetrical installations pay tribute to Anderson’s legendary centered framing technique.

Immerse yourself in five themed zones at The Mills, then continue your journey to AIRSIDE, where two additional themed zones transport you to some of the world's most visually stunning locations. 

Step into the “Transport Zone” to explore the nostalgic romance of trains, trams, and other transportation. Then wander into the “Nature Zone” where snow-covered forests and rustic woodland paths invite you on a poetic adventure into serenity, an escape from the city’s hustle and bustle.

Interactive Photo Spots:

Sit back in the vintage-style train cabin where visitors can sit back and snap your own movie moment through the train window.

A recreated red-and-white gate from New Zealand’s Mount Aspiring National Park invites visitors to climb its steps and capture a one-of-a-kind memory.
