【In Time Of Weaving Festival | Ceramic x Embroidery Pendant Workshop】
Have you ever thought that ceramics and embroidery can be combined to create your own pendant?
Although these two materials seem to be unrelated, their properties have many similarities.
And it often appears in our daily lives.
Ceramics, after being fired at high temperatures, are strong and durable, symbolizing durability and stability; while embroidery,
Soft lines are used to transform invisible imagination into concrete patterns, showing personal style and emotion.
Through this workshop, you will experience how to skillfully combine the two to create unique pendants that express your unique values and creativity.
In the workshop, participants will learn traditional embroidery techniques from embroidery artist Stephanie. Through the slow movement of needle and thread,
Transform the patterns in your mind into tangible works of art. At the same time, you can also experience the embroidery on the ceramic frame prepared by the World Promise curatorial team and artist Jack Tang, and connect your own work with the ceramic frame. Frame your own embroidery works well to create a unique artistic landscape.
We invite you to explore the harmonious beauty of ceramics and embroidery with your own hands and create your own work of art!
